Check out the Montclair Food & Wine Festival!

I was asked—by Melody Kettle, the mastermind behind
this ambitious/complex/sophisticated concept
and the execution of it—to manage the registration/check-in process for all of the guests of these two (different) big nights.

(The first one was a tasting expo, with folks walking around
from comestible vendor table to adult-beverage servers, etc.

The second one was a six-course sit-down dinner—
with wine pairings by a local famous sommelier
by six celebrated local chefs.)

Melody called, asking to speak with “Mr. Hospitality.”
My reputation is well-branded.

Here we are—on the red carpet—on the first night.
RH & MK

(Photo by—my first choice for trusted team-member—Meg Beattie.)

It was awesome. Everything went fantastically. Chefs Ryan DePersio (Fascino), Ariane Duarte (CulinAriane), Mitchell Altholz (Highlawn Pavilion), Francesco Palmieri (The Orange Squirrel), Mike Carrino (Pig & Prince) and Zod Arifai (Blu) all played nicely (helping each other prepare each course) in one kitchen, at the Women’s Club of Upper Montclair. Oh, both nights were vvvery warm, but everybody had a fabulous time, and it was unanimously declared to be a great success. I saw a lot of people that I know, met some other special folks on Melody’s team—most notably Liz Hartman and Lisa Smith—and was pleased to network with the restaurateurs and purveyors. I was very honored to be chosen to play a special part in this fund-raiser for several worthwhile charities.
